Would a Bottled Water Dispenser Make You Happier Than One Without a Bottle?

As you're deciding to get water dispenser, you need to think about whether you want to get one with a bottle or without. You will find advantages and disadvantages to each depending on what kind of water you have to start with. One one hand you can see the convenience of not having to buy and store large water jugs. But on the other you may have water in your home or business that is difficult to easily treat or filter.

The way a water dispenser works that has no bottle is that it will take water from lines feeding the rest of your home or business. The dispensing unit will then typically filter the water before running it into the chilling or heating sections. This helps make the water a little safe and taste better for drinking or mixing. It gives you more peace of mind for making tea, hot chocolate, or mixing with drink powders.

The downside of these bottle-less dispensers is that they can't do the heavy duty cleaning that some water sources need. If water is coming from a source that is heavily contaminated or has a lot of sediments then the filter in these units will not be adequate. In the worst case harmful toxins could get through a filter, or the filter could just get clogged up from a high level of particulate.

This is where bottled water dispensers really work well. Since you are bringing the water from an outside source you don't have to worry about the quality of the incoming water. Bottled water dispensers also have the convenience of chilled and hot water spigots. The only down side you would be looking at here is the expense of getting the water to your home or business, and finding a place to store the jugs. But this is minor compared to having health issues or bad tasting water for your coworkers or family.

You can continue here to find the right bottled water dispenser. See why not every bottle water cooler is not created the same.
